Session Specific T’s & C’s

Eligibility & Session Format

• Suitable for children 6 months and older who can sit unassisted. No newborns; please refer to the newborn session format if applicable.

• Maximum of 4 children per session. For larger groups or extended family/cousins, contact info@lanapratt.com.au to discuss options. Additional time/fees may apply.

• Sessions are 20 minutes in-studio at Oakford, priced at $250 for 5 digital images (delivered in colour + black & white; total 10 files).

• Optional upgrade: receive the full edited gallery at a flat, capped fee. Prints and products available for purchase via the online gallery.

Booking & Payment

• $50 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session. Balance due via EFT or cash on the session day.

• Sessions are first-come, first-served; no rain checks or holds for missed bookings.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellation, failure to attend, or change of mind results in forfeited retainer and session fee.

• Illness: sessions cannot proceed if participants are unwell (fever, flu-like symptoms, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, etc.) within the previous 7 days. Notify the studio in advance to discuss rescheduling.

• If a participant is deemed unwell at the studio, the session will be terminated immediately, and fees will be forfeited.

• In the event of COVID-19 or similar restrictions, sessions will be rescheduled to the next available date. Non-refundable retainers may be transferred to another studio session if preferred.

Session Conduct & Studio Policy

• No pets or props are permitted.

• Session time cannot be extended for late arrivals.

• Other photography by family/friends during the session is not permitted to avoid disruption.

Copyright & Image Use

• Lana Pratt Photography retains full copyright of all images.

• Clients may use images for personal use only. Commercial use requires written permission.

• Images must be credited as: © Lana Pratt Photography when shared online.

• No editing or alteration of images is permitted (cropping, filters, B&W conversion, etc.) without approval.

Gallery Delivery & Image Standards

• Galleries will be delivered within 2 weeks of the session. Any delays will be communicated in writing.

• The studio selects the best images only, consistent with portfolio standards. Unflattering or technically flawed images are removed.

• Editing includes exposure, colour, contrast, and artistic finishing. Photoshopping or retouching beyond standard workflow is extra.

Client Responsibilities

• Clients confirm that all session details are accurate and agree to cooperate to allow the studio to fulfil contracted obligations.

• Additional venue bookings, props, or external costs are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise invoiced.

Studio Responsibilities & Liability

• If the nominated photographer is unavailable, an associate of equivalent skill will cover or the session will be rescheduled at no cost.

• The studio is not liable for circumstances beyond its control, including equipment failure, material faults, lost digital files, weather, or industrial disputes.

• Liability is limited to a refund of fees paid, which represents full settlement of any claims.

Use for Promotion

• Clients grant permission for their images to be used for studio marketing, social media, competitions, and promotional purposes.

Agreement Acknowledgement

• By booking, clients acknowledge they have read and understood these T’s & C’s, agree to the non-refundable retainer, and accept the terms regarding session conduct, image usage, and liability.
